i'm back!! with a new entry.. hehz.. they said i'm getting lazier..
so much so that i put pictures as an entry.. but wat to do? got
camera phone now what.. must fully utilise it.. keke.. ok.. i think
there should be a decent entry to entertain those who has nothing
better to do online and enjoys reading blogs..
well.. i think scv has got interesting programs on national geographic
and animal planet recently.. there was this program named " Record
Setters" this morning at around 2am. its an amazing show that
introduced some of the world records. some examples are - fast draw-
the fastest sport in the world. it takes less than a third of a second.
participants cannot touch any part of his/her body while drawing the
pistol. thereafter, they're suppose to shoot through this hole to complete
the event. and everything is so fast that its over so quickly. -record roller
coaster rider- this person spent most of his time on a roller coaster. his
first record was 45hrs.. den 103hrs 55min den 124 hrs den 3weeks on a
roller coaster non-stop.. maybe a 5 min break to go to the loo.. that's not
all.. he continued breaking records and in 1998, he targeted to reach a more
than 600 hrs record.. he broke it.. the record till now hasnt been broken..
its set at 1013 hrs. he started on the 18th june and ended on 3rd august..
so cool rite? dunno how these people find time to break all these records..
i mean they dun get anything out of it. these are just a few amazing ones.
there's more to it.. like fastest boat-317.6 miles per hr.. record skydiving,
fastest painter etc..
anyway, "About Asia" was another cool show. the topic i watched was on
transvestite. it says that India has about 500000 trans. its part of their
customs. the trans are said to possess power to curse n bless. they're the
divine brides. so scary lor.and in India, the trans went through castration
without anesthetic. 1 out of 10 woldnt make it in the process. their tradition..
its madness.. they also showed the real trans in "beautiful boxer". she's really
pretty. the whole show is just fantastic.. it opens my eyes to things that are
going on in the world. but i still think most of the time, these channels are
boring. i only watch it when i'm really bored. hehz..
